This vintage Tashiro Shoten ceramic platter/tray features a floral motif, a round shape with a 9-inch diameter, and four compartments. It has a bamboo handle, a 1950s style, and is hand-painted with an embossed rim. Made in Japan in 1954, this medium-sized serving dish is perfect for all occasions. TASHIRO SHOTEN Ltd. was a porcelain shop in Yokohama, Japan; active before WWII up until 1954. SHOTEN indicates the name for a shop which is selling products from its own kiln.
