The K-Type sensor is housed at the tip of a 3 ft long wire probe, which has a durable fiber glass insulation. It has a miniature type connector that will work with digital K-type thermometers (see my shop for a good selection). This k-type temperature probe can be used to measure air or gas temperatures, it can be attached to pipes or embeded into objects you want to measure. It is commonly used in the HVAC trade, in manufacturing, science labs, and for reseach projects of all kinds. All digital electronic thermometers that conform to the k-type specification can use this probe.
