Some pieces of Staffordshire Jackfield pottery are very similar to Fife Pottery and may actually be Fife Pottery. Flagon form jug pitcher. Measures approximately 9 inches/22cm high to the top of lid. Weighs 931g / 2 pounds 3/4 oz. Very good condition. No cracks or chips noticed and has a clean glaze on the inside and which is still good to use to this day. The gilt decoration on the outside is still in very good shape and there is relief paint for the grapes that is raised. Robert Heron started making Fife Pottery in 1882
